How to use and care
- As a balm. Scoop a small amount with clean, dry fingers, warm it between your palms, and smooth it over skin. Extra nourishment for parts like feet, elbows, and heels.
- As a light lotion. Wet your hands a little and rub a small amount between your palms. It turns milky. Smooth it over skin. Light enough for legs and the rest of you.
Waterless. There's no water in the tin. It becomes a lotion when you add water. You choose the amount.

Is it a sunscreen?
No. Wear your SPF every day.
Will it make my skin sensitive to the sun?
No. Citrus oils can do that at high levels. Our lemon essential oil is used well below the safety limit.
Is it greasy?
No. It's silky and feels light on the skin.
How much should I use?
Start with a small amount. A little goes a long way.
Is it scented?
Yes, with essential oils. Each scent matches a Kula Essentials soap.
Is it gentle, and does it have nuts?
It's formulated to be gentle, but some people may react to cold-pressed oils. It contains nuts. We recommend testing on a small spot and waiting 24 hours before using more.

Why does my soap look a little different from the photo?
Every batch is handcrafted, so slight variations in size, color and appearance are normal.
What's left out of your bath and body products?
Our soaps, lotion butters and bath salts are made without synthetic fragrance, color, preservatives, sulfates or parabens. You'll find each full ingredient list under All the details.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders over $100 ship free within the United States (before taxes and fees). Orders under $100 pay standard shipping rates.
When will my order ship?
Please allow 1–5 business days for us to process your order, not counting weekends and holidays. It can take a little longer during busy seasons.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not right now. Skincare labeling rules vary by country, so we currently ship only within the United States.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email us at aloha@kulaessentialsmaui.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll work with you on a replacement or refund.
