The base of this serum is light, nourishing liliko'i, cucumber, and macadamia oils from plants that love the sun. They also give it its fresh scent, with no added fragrance.

Handmade in small batches in Kula, Maui. Our macadamia oil is Hawai'i-harvested, and our liliko'i oil is organic.

Is this a retinol?
No. It is formulated without retinol.
Does it add sun sensitivity?
No. Its actives are sun-stable. Still wear your SPF every day.
Is it a sunscreen?
No.
Any fragrance or essential oils?
No added fragrance and no essential oils. The scent comes from the oils.
Do I need Tropical Glow too?
Tropical Glow is for your day. Island Refresh is for your night.
Can I use these if I spend a lot of time in the sun?
Yes. Our four face formulas are made without sun-sensitizing actives, so you can use them morning and night. They aren't sunscreen, so keep wearing your SPF.
How do I build a routine?
Sun up: Tropical Glow, then Jet Set. Sun down: Island Refresh, then seal it in with Midnight Magic.
Where are your products made?
Everything is handcrafted in small batches in Kula, Maui.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders over $100 ship free within the United States (before taxes and fees). Orders under $100 pay standard shipping rates.
When will my order ship?
Please allow 1–5 business days for us to process your order, not counting weekends and holidays. It can take a little longer during busy seasons.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Not right now. Skincare labeling rules vary by country, so we currently ship only within the United States.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email us at aloha@kulaessentialsmaui.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll work with you on a replacement or refund.
